Basic Course Package: Freediving + Spearfishing

If you don’t have an Freediving certification and would like to practice Spearfishing, in Baratti, our location in Tuscany, you can finally have an ‘experience to get started the right way.

DATES – June 2024
18 and 19 – Apnea Course – SSI Basic Freediving (2 days from 9 am to 1 pm)
20 and 21 – Introduction to Spearfishing Course (2 days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
Two half days to learn basic freediving techniques and then two more half days to begin to understand what it means to Spearfishing and properly handle the necessary equipment.

PROGRAM
FREE DIVING COURSE.
In the SSI Freediving Basic course the most important aspects of freediving are covered, to approach it in a simple and gradual way without pretensions about times and depths, but only with the enthusiasm of discovery and the security of having an experienced instructor always by your side.

SPEARFISHING COURSE.
The goal of this course is to learn the basics of spearfishing within 5 meters, practicing the basic techniques such as: cave fishing, raking and ambush. You begin to look at the sea differently, paying attention to light, current and the behavior of small fish that will reveal so much about the big ones ;-)
