Introducing our locations in Italy!
The headquarters of Katabasis Freediving and Sailing is located in Baratti (Tuscany), overlooking the Etruscan coast of the northern Tyrrhenian Sea. Our sea excursions mainly take place off the Gulf, but a short boat ride will take you to the islands of Cerboli, Palmaiola and Elba Island. We are situated opposite the Tuscan Archipelago and in the heart of the Pelagos Sanctuary, a marine area of great importance due to the presence of cetaceans. During the summer, our Tuscan base also hosts freediving and sailing cruises to Elba Island, Capraia and Corsica.
Modena has a strong tradition of courses and training in swimming pools during the winter, as well as organizing training in deep pools, breathing workshops and sea trips.
Turin is the main location for its activities with children and young people, offered as an extracurricular activity, and occasionally organizes trips to the sea in Liguria.
Lake Bolsena offers the opportunity to freedive in Europe’s largest volcanic lake, go on nature excursions and attend workshops focused on healthy lifestyles.
