PesCotto is an itinerant project inspired by Spearfishing and the creation of recipes using fish caught in the sea: in a nutshell, Fished and Cooked = PesCotto.

The idea was born from the collaboration of CARLO BOSCIA of Katabasis, a freediving, sailing and spearfishing school based in Tuscany, and EMANUELA POZZO of Merellin (a creative Ligurian restaurateur).

It all started as a game during our travels, where we spontaneously combined the love and respect for the Sea with the pleasure of travelling and the passion for good food; to do this we move with “El Cachalote” (which in Spanish means Sperm Whale) our beautiful van or we take off on a sailing boat during the cruises proposed to our friends and students, in the Mediterranean and beyond.

Travelling, spearfishing with respect for the Sea, getting to know new realities, experimenting with recipes, always on the move and always wanting to discover something new!

All this combined with the search for a simple and sustainable life (not necessarily comfortable…) is what constantly inspires us and what we like to share with those we meet on our way and also with our friends who follow our adventures from afar.
