With Katabasis Freediving and Sailing you will discover the coastline from Santa Margherita Ligure to Recco, in the Portofino Marine Protected Area, where you are sure to encounter grouper, dentex, bream and amberjacks.
Entering the sea along a 600 metre high stretch of coastline that opens up to the San Fruttuoso Abbey and its wonders.

A mystical and fascinating freediving experience: the Christ of the Abyss! A symbol for all freedivers and one of the most famous dive sites in the world, it is located in front of the San Fruttuoso Abbey on a 17-meters seabed. The statue reaches out with its hands at about 10 meters giving all freedivers the chance to take divine selfies!

Thanks to the experience gained during our stay in Liguria (2016-2017) we can provide, if requested, useful information for food and accommodation in facilities especially in the area of Recco.
The logistics of the activities in Apnea is organized in collaboration with the Manta Sub of Recco which, thanks to its beautiful location, always welcomes us as if we were back home!
