Pranayama and Freediving Retrait
Breathing is the greatest vital act, yet this mechanism often becomes incomplete, superficial, irregular and hurried. Working with the body through asanas, restoring attention and presence to the breath through different techniques disposes us to receive its benefits, overcoming all those obstacles that arise, giving us health and vitality.
Knowing the breath means discovering its rhythms of fullness (inhale/Puraka), restraint (full lungs Antara Kumbhaka), emptiness, (exhale/Rechaka), restraint (empty lungs/Bahya Kumbhaka). By systematically playing and practising with these rhythms, we can experience a mind that is calm and present. If we struggle, the breath will become laboured; if we are not focused, the breath will be overwhelmed by the sound of our thoughts. Maintain awareness on the breath and every moment will be a meditation.
