Advanced Spearfishing Workshop – October 2025 – Tuscan Coast and Elba Island

This is an event dedicated to medium-experienced spearfishermen who want to fish independently under the supervision of an instructor, who knows the Tuscan archipelago and who can, if required, test the technique and give some good advice 😉
Period – Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 October 2025
Participation in individual days is also possible
Outings – 4 trips to be made depending on weather conditions
Spearfishing areas: Tuscan coast, Island of Cerboli, Island of Palmaiola, Island of Elba
Timetable – from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Boat – 5.60 dinghy + 115 hp outboard motor
Staff – Captain + spearfishing instructor: Carlo Boscia

Participation fee including fuel
4 days – € 500
1 day – € 130
The workshop is reserved for a maximum of 4 people per day

The fee includes
– dinghy trips
– captain/boatman on board
– freediving and spearfishing instructor participating in fishing trips
– briefing and debriefing of the fishing sessions + assistance at sea + coaching in turn during dives
– water on board

The fee does not include
– board and lodging
– return trip

Necessary for participation
– freediving certification
– medical certificate

– complete own equipment (rental possible)

Katabasis is for sustainable, selective and safe spearfishing
Participants undertake in writing to follow the instructor’s instructions in particular on the pair system, fishing times, size and type of fish, and the maximum daily amount of fish per capita that can be caught.
