Spearfishing Day – 12 September 2025 – Tuscan Coast and Elba Island

Spearfishing day: Friday 12 September
This is an event dedicated to moderately experienced fishermen with a free-diving licence who want to spearfish independently, under the supervision of an instructor who knows the Tuscan archipelago and who can, if required, test the technique and give some good advice 😉
1 outing to be carried out in the most suitable area according to weather conditions
Spearfishing areas: Tuscan coast, Island of Cerboli, Island of Palmaiola, Island of Elba
Timetable – from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Boat – 5.60 dinghy + 115 hp outboard motor
Staff – Captain + fishing instructor: Carlo Boscia

Participation fee including fuel
1 day – € 130 + Membership fee € 25
The workshop is reserved for a maximum of 4 people

The fee includes
– boat trips
– captain/boatman on board
– freediving and spearfishing instructor participating in the fishing trips
– briefing and debriefing of the spearfishing sessions + assistance at sea + coaching in turn during dives
– water on board

The fee does not include
– board and lodging
– trip A/R

Necessary to participate
– freediving certificate
– medical certificate
– membership and membership form
– complete own equipment (rental possible)

Katabasis is for sustainable, selective and safe spearfishing
Participants undertake in writing to follow the instructor’s instructions in particular on the pair system, fishing times, size and type of fish, maximum daily catch.
