Freediving Sailing and Spearfishing Cruise 21-27 July – Elba, Capraia e Corsica

July 21-27, 2024 departing from Baratti in Tuscany and heading to Elba Island and Capraia and Corsica!
In partnership with Oxygen Sail, a sailing cruise to freediving in the Tuscan Archipelago; dedicate a week aboard GRINTA, a 21-meter sailing cabin cruiser and enjoy recreational freediving in the settings that have seen the birth of modern freediving legends such as Jaques Mayol. You will be sailing in Europe’s largest Marine Park; and it is here that the Cetacean Sanctuary is located, so there is a good chance of encountering dolphins and if we are lucky (a lot) even whales.

The sailing school is included in the fee!!
Look at the page dedicated to sailing cruises to discover the activities on board; in addition to the daily practice of sailing, a theoretical stage on relaxation, breathing and equalization is included. In addition it is always possible to practice recreational freediving or, upon request, participate in a SSI Freediving course. For spearfishers, following the instructions of the captain and the rules of sustainable and safe fishing, there are excellent opportunities to practice their passion or to participate in a course or individual lessons.

The itinerary will depend on the marine weather conditions and on the crew’s ability and willingness to navigate and will always be at the discretion of the captain
Spearfishing will be ethical and sustainable and always carried out by at least 2 people
PARTICIPATION FEE
€ 800/person + €25 (membership membership 2024)
The fee includes
– UISP named accident insurance
– Single berth accommodation
– Sailing lessons 2 hours a day + Freediving dry Workshop
– Individual practice of recreational freediving and spearfishing
The fee does not include
– Meals, diesel and mooring in ports that will be managed with a common fund (crew excluded)
– Bed linen and towels
– Preparation of meals and ordinary cleaning to be carried out in rotation among the crew members
– Freediving or spearfishing course or lessons (optional on request)
