Basic Freediving Course + Introduction to Spearfishing Package
If you don’t have an Freediving certificate and would like to practice Spearfishing, in Baratti, our location in Tuscany, you can finally have an experience to get started the right way.
DATES – June 2025
3 and 4 – SSI Basic Freediving course (2 days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
5 and 6 – Introduction to Spearfishing Course (2 days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
Two half days to learn basic freediving techniques, followed by a further two half days to begin to understand what Spearfishing is all about and how to correctly handle the necessary equipment.
PROGRAM
FREE DIVING COURSE
In the SSI Freediving Basic course, the most important aspects of freediving are covered, so that you can approach freediving in a simple and gradual manner with no pretense about times or depths, but only with the enthusiasm of discovery and the security of having an experienced instructor always by your side.
SPEARFISHING COURSE
The aim of this course is to learn the basics of spearfishing within 5 meters, practicing basic techniques such as cave fishing, raking and ambushing. We begin to look at the sea in a different way, paying attention to light, current and the behaviour of small fish that will reveal so much about the big ones ;-)
