SSI Freediving Course Level 1 (Pool/Freediver)
FREEDIVING COURSES in Tuscany, on the Etruscan Coast.
In Baratti, at our headquarters from 16 to 18 September 2025, the SSI Freediver / Pool (1st level) course will take place
SSI POOL/FREEDIVER COURSE (1st LIV)
An introductory experience to get to know Freediving and learn the technique, but above all to understand and love the Sea. Open to all those who want to get involved, even boys/girls aged 12 and up! Followed step by step by an experienced instructor, you will learn the importance of safety and how to practice recreational freediving while consciously interacting with the marine environment.
Participants: 2 to 5 students
Duration: Tuesday to Thursday
2 sessions of 4 hours (theory + confined waters)
2 sessions of 4 hours (theory + open waters)
Timetable:
Tuesday 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Thursday 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Depths from 5 to 20 metres
Participation fee
€ 280 + € 50 for SSI Freediving certification if required
To participate in the course you must
– membership of Katabasis 2025 (€ 25)
– medical certificate
