SSI Course Pool/Freediver (lev 1) or Advanced (lev 2)
FREEDIVING COURSES in Tuscany, on the Etruscan Coast.
In Baratti, at our headquarters from 10 to 13 June 2025, the SSI Freediver course (lev 1) will be held with different programs, or alternatively, for those who already have the necessary certification and experience, the SSI Advanced course (lev 2)
SSI POOL/FREEDIVER COURSE (lev 1)
An introductory experience to get to know Freediving and learn the technique, but above all to understand and love the Sea. Open to all those who want to get involved, even boys and girls aged 12 and up! Followed step by step by an experienced instructor, you will learn the importance of safety and how to practice recreational freediving while consciously interacting with the marine environment.
Participants: 2 to 5 students
Duration: Tuesday to Thursday
Timetable: daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
2 sessions of 3 hours (theory + confined waters)
2 sessions of 3 hours (theory + open water)
Depths from 5 to 20 metres
Participation fee
€ 280 + € 50 for SSI Freediving certification if required
SSI FREEDIVING ADVANCED COURSE (lev 2)
The 2nd level Freediving course provides additional knowledge for practicing freediving. Equalization is offered in greater depth, tackling the various descent techniques along the rope, such as constant weight and free immersion. A course to refine technique and develop greater awareness, without ever losing sight of the fun.
Participants: 2 to 5 students
Duration: Tuesday to Friday
Timetable: every day from 9 am to 1 pm + 2 days from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
2 sessions of 3 hours (theory + confined waters)
2 sessions of 3 hours (theory + open water)
2 sessions of 2 hours (confined and open water)
Depths of 20 to 30 meters
Participation fee
€ 390 including SSI Freediving certification
For both the Freediver Course (1st level) and the Advanced Course (2nd level) you must have
– Membership of Katabasis 2025 (€ 25)
– Medical certificate
